The state government has decided to improve water use efficiency in agriculture sector by asking companies to help through their CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiatives.

 

 

The suspension of mining operations in Goa appears to have hit Vedanta Goa’s (formerly Sesa Sterlite Limited), operations, the latest being the temporary closure of the mining conglomerate’s corporate social responsibility activities.

 

 

The state government has decided to take corporate help to protect and preserve historical forts. The state will ask for help within the ambit of corporate social responsibility.

Railway authorities are planning to construct five mini-shelters at Edappally station's second platform before the onset of monsoon.
